County Meets

Wow!  I can't believe that summer is coming to an end.  Our championship meets are next week and we are excited to see the progress our swimmers have made.  I have sent an email out to each swimmer who qualified for county.  If you didn't get an email and your child swam in 2 meets, please contact me ASAP and I will look into it.  I need a response by Friday night whether your child will swim or not.  I have to send in registration this weekend.  County meets are strict.  I only have 5 changes allowed for our whole team for all three meet days, so it's important for me to have everything done in advance.  Relays will be put together based on who is registered and times.  We will let you know at check-in if your child is in a relay.

Important Dates:
Thursday, July 28th- LAST Day of swim team practice
Wednesday, July 27th- Bronze meet at Springville Warm-ups 3 pm, Meet at 4.  This is an old, indoor pool.  Most likely you'll want to set up an area to sit outside and then come in when it is your child's event.  Bring shade, lots of snacks/water and towels.
Friday, July 29th- Silver meet at Spanish Fork. Warm ups 7, Meet at 8.  Spanish Fork is outdoors near the high school.  Bring shade and lots of towels.  The canyon breezes tend to be cool in the morning, so lots of blankets/towels till the sun starts to warm things up is a good idea.  Bring lots of snacks/water.
Saturday, July 30- Gold meet at Spanish Fork. Warm ups 7am, Meet at 8am.

Tuesday, August 9- Swim Team pool party/BBQ-  All swimmers will get an award, in addition to the awards for the county meet swimmers.  Families are invited.  More details to come soon.
