Warm-ups begin at 7 am. The meet will start at 7:30. This is an indoor pool. It can get loud and hot in there. They require spectators to sit in a spectator area above the pool. You will need to pay attention to the numbers above the bull pen and send your swimmer down. They will not allow me to throw a kid in a lane. It will be pre-seeded so if your child doesn't make it down, they will miss their event. If they need help or aren't sure when it's their turn, please have them talk to us. Coaches will be near the bullpen. Please check in with coaches when you arrive to get event numbers. This meet will run on a timing system. I will not be able to do any late entries, so please be sure to do your meet sign ups before 9 am THURSDAY the 19th. Bring plenty of water, snacks, and towels.
Ribbons from the meet at Riverside on Saturday are ready to pick up. Please see me at practice. Results will be posted tomorrow night.
Swimmers who are interested in swimming in the county championships. Your swimmer needs to have participated in at least 2 swim meets. After I have results from this meet, I will use best times and determine which championship your child qualifies for and notify you. The blog has a time standard posted for each of the meets so you can get an idea of where they would go.
County Dates:
July 31- Bronze meet (All 6 and under, 7-14, and the lower 1/3 of the county times). PM meet around 3 pm at Lindon.
August 2- Silver meet (middle 1/3 of county times, ages 7-14). 1 PM at Spanish Fork.
August 3- Gold meet (All 15-18, top 1/3 of county times ages 7-14). 6 AM at Spanish Fork.
NO PRACTICE on Pioneer Day!
Last day of practice August 2.
