Welcome to the 2013 Summer Swimming Program at Riverside Country Club

We are so excited to start a new season of swimming at Riverside Country Club.  We are happy for the many returning swimmers and look forward to meeting all the new members and swimmers. 

Swim Team:
Registration Forms can be picked up on June 5 at the pool, or you may download and print the form from the link to the right.
Registration and try out day is June 5.  Coaches will be at the pool from 8:30-10:30 am.  If your child is new to swim team or to our program, we would like to see them swim this day.  Children should be able to swim the length (25 Meters) of the pool comfortably on their stomach in order to be ready for swim team. 
This same day, you may order swim suits and sweatshirts, as well as pay all registration fee.

Our swim team is a recreational team.  We focus on learning and/or perfecting the 4 competitive strokes.  Older swimmers (ages 11-18) will swim from 8:30-9:30 am and the younger swimmers (10 and younger) will swim from 9:30-10:15 Monday-Friday each week from June 6-August 1.  Swim meets take place mainly on Saturdays.  Meets are not required, however, strongly encouraged.  There will be 2 meets at Riverside and 2-3 away meets.  If your child would like to participate in the championship meets, they will need to participate in at least 2 meets.

Swimming Lessons:
We have 3 sessions this summer.  Each session consists of 8- 30 minute lessons.  Swim instructors are certified, and we try to keep our classes small for optimal instruction.  Please see the swim lesson registration form to the right for information on class descriptions.  You can drop off registration forms at the club or email Christine your lesson request at christinewhatcott@gmail.com.
Session 1- June 10-20 (Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks)
Sesson 2- June 24-July 3 (Monday- Friday the first week and Monday-Wednesday the second week)
Session 3- July 8-18 (Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks)
