Whew! We made it through the first week and a half of swim team. Your kids are amazing, and we are loving the opportunity to work with them. They are already showing great improvement. This blog is how I plan to keep you informed on what is happening with the swim team.
A few things...
1) All shirt orders are due by MONDAY, June 16. Please let me know if you would like to order one. Short sleeved shirts are $10 and long sleeved shirts are $15. I also have swim suits, goggles, and goggle cords (replacement straps) available for a few more weeks.
2) Our first swim meet is this Saturday, June 21 at Riverside. All swimmers are welcome to swim at this meet. Sign-ups will be on Friday during swim practice. Your child can swim up to 3 individual events and up to 2 relays. Warm-ups will begin at 7:30 am, and the meet will start at 8 am. We will need some parent volunteers to help as timers.
3) Please plan on checking this blog weekly for updates on meets and other swim team news.
